Remember when you were a teenager, and your mom would tell you to do something, but you would purposely go out of your way not to do it, simply for the fact that she told you to do it...?
Well, thats the president of our company. He's got the attention span of a navy bean. He refuses to do anything that resembles actual work. He only does *work* that is interesting to him at the time. Then when it becomes difficult, or he gets bored, he moves on to whatever else.
I know that sounds like a dream job; but let me tell you...working for a person like that is impossible. He insists on being involved with ALL decisions about ANYTHING. Then saying, "Well, I'll do this or that. Don't move on anything until you hear from me." Then we don't hear anything for weeks, and when you confront him about dropping the ball, he does the silent-treatment/I'm-not-gonna-do-anything-you-want-me-to-just-to-spite-you bit.
*sigh*
I need a nap.
So, I haven't posted since last week..been super busy.
First, I went to Seattle for a tradeshow. That was long. Long Long Long Long. Long.
Got back Saturday night around 12:30am. Late.
Sunday we did some shopping for the Mexico trip (for which we leave this Friday).
Monday, I bought a car mp3/cd receiver. Now I can listen to hours and hours of mindless PopRock drivel, all on a single cd.
And now its Tuesday and I want a nap.
I got a bit of poison oak. My threshold for discomfort is inexplicably low, so I went to the doctor for something to make it stop. He ordered up a bottle of Prednazone.
OH MAN!!!! I can't remember a time since High School when I've been this speedy. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!
That is all.
Well -- Brent finally remembered how to encode things into Quicktime format and finished up the encoding of the video that I shot while we were out climbing with Carl and everyone. It's a fun short 4 minute piece compiled from the 20mins of video we shot.

Enjoy!
It was pretty funny. My mom called me and asked for some sample sounds of Roosters crowing (she's directing a play and needed background sound). So I go out and start looking for barnyard animal sounds. Click! Play! Baaaaaaaaaaaaahhh! Suddenly my office sounds like a farm. Chris starts going nuts laughing. I enjoyed it.
On a loosely related note: the lease agreement for our house has a 'No Barnyard Animals' clause. :)
What a beautiful day!!!
Brent and I went out to Goat Rock on Saturday to do some bouldering and hang out with a whole bunch of folks from the Gym. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Sunny, cool, no wind. Aaaaah!!!
Anyhow, between the two of us we took almost 200 pictures. Here are just a few.
I'll be posting up a video of some of the stuff a little later today.
